Manson Mingle: Feb. 12

MANSON - The Manson Chamber of Commerce Manson Mingle is set for Feb. 12 at Radiance Winery, in their downtown location. Arrive at 6 p.m. and pick up a nametag and network with folks that love our community. The Manson Chamber of Commerce will provide food and Radiance Winery will sell their great wines at a discounted rate. There is no question that connecting a community makes itstronger and more effective. You need not be a business owner to attend theMingle, just someone with a love for our amazing community.
About 6:40 p.m. Jeff Crowder, owner Radiance Winery will talk about their recent move and plans for the future. The Manson Chamber will lead a discussion regarding Winterfest, successes and possible changes for nextyear. They will also let you know what they have scheduled for the rest of the winter and how you can get involved. They are looking for someone to host the March Manson Mingle on March 11, contact Norm Manly.
Our guest speaker for the February Mingle is Mike Cooney,Executive Director, https://chelanvalleyhousing.org/.Their Mission is to develop stable and secure housing that is affordable to Manson and Chelan area residents. They believe that stable housing in which families, young professionals, and seniors can thrive is crucial to a healthy community, and stable economy. A discussion will follow.

Red Dress Fashion Show: Feb. 28

CHELAN - Lake Chelan Health & Wellness will hold their annual Red Dress Luncheon and Fashion Show on Friday, Feb. 28, 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. at Sorrento’s Ristorante at Tisllan Cellars, 3875 Highway 97A.Speakers will be Beverly La Mar, Certified Family Nurses Practitioner and Agustin Benegas, Community Health Worker, CDSMP/DSMP Certified.Beverly and Augstin will share their knowledge on proven and practical wellness strategies. They will share how to get to better health by reducing and preventing chronic illness through healthy lifestyles. There will be a Main Street Gallery Fashion Show featuring models from Lake Chelan Community Hospital and Clinics.

Spaghetti Dinner for
veterans and families: Feb. 29

MANSON - The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6853 and its Auxiliary invites all veterans and their families to a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 29, 3:30-7 p.m. at Champion Orchards, 2470 Totem Pole Road in Manson. Come enjoy real spaghetti made by Robert Serafini. BYOB. Donations aceepted.

Winter Art Exhibit:
Thru March 27
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Arts Council’s Winter art exhibit themed  “Lake Chelan in Winter” will open at Chelan Public Library on Jan. 30, where it will be on display thru March 27. Artists were invited to submit work in different media such as paintings, drawings, photography, collage and pottery.
