Chelan Fire & Rescue special meeting:
Feb. 10
CHELAN – Chelan Fire & Rescue will hold a special meeting for long range planning on Monday, February 10,  9 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the fire hall located at the corner of Wapato Avenue and Sanders. On the agenda is: Review of Mission Statement, Review of Multi-year budget forecasting and 2020 Organizational Goals: Training, Community Relations, Staffing, Apparatus Replacement, Facilities and Measurable Goals. The regular meeting for Chelan County Fire District #7 will be held at 4 p.m.  on Wed., Feb. 19. The regular meetings are held the third Wednesday of the months.

Miss Lake Chelan
Sweetheart Dinner: Feb. 10
CHELAN - The Miss Lake Chelan Scholarship committee will hold their fundraiser Sweetheart Dinner on Monday, Feb. 10, 5-8 p.m. at Local Myth Pizza.  Enjoy all you can eat salad, breadsticks, and pizza. Cost is $25 per ticket. Bring your sweetheart and enjoy a great meal. All funds are used toward scholarships. You will also get a chance to meet the 2020 candidates.

CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Arts Council’s Winter art exhibit themed  “Lake Chelan in Winter” will open at Chelan Public Library on Jan. 30, where it will be on display thru March 27. Artists were invited to submit work in different media such as paintings, drawings, photography, collage and pottery.
