ECHO RIDGE: For the latest grooming report go to lakechelannordic.org. Passes are required. Season passes and Nordic Club memberships can be purchased online at LakeChelanNordic.org. Use your receipt for proof of payment until you receive your season pass in the mail. Day passes can be purchased for $10 per person 18 years and older at the trailhead with cash or check.
ECHO VALLEY: Echo Valley Ski area is now open for the season. They are open weekends and holidays throughout the ski season, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. For more info: skiechovalley.com.
‘What’s Up Vet!’ - Informational Zoom meetings: Dec. 24, 29
NCW - All Chelan and Douglas County veterans are invited to attend the new “What’s Up Vet!” informational meetings via Zoom. Every Tuesday/Thursday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Open to vets, spouses, dependents and anyone with questions regarding veteran benefits and resources. Food Bank  food distribution: Dec.26, 29
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Food Bank food giveaway is on Saturday and Tuesday, 9-10 a.m. Distribution continues to be drive-thru. The Lake Chelan Food Bank is located at 417 S. Bradley Street. 
Small Town Holidays fireworks: Dec. 31
CHELAN/MANSON -  There will be fireworks in Manson Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. and in Chelan at 9 p.m.

Echo Valley Ski area
New Year’s Eve: Dec. 31
CHELAN - You’re invited to Echo Valley Ski and Tubing Area’s annual New Year’s Eve party. Plan to be there Dec. 31.  There will be a bonfire, s’mores, night tubing and of course fun. New this year:  Due to overwhelming response to last year’s event, they will be charging an admission fee of $10 per person, which includes tubing. Cash or card will be accepted at the gate. Parking opens at 5:30 p.m., the event will begin at 6 p.m. Children 5 and under are free, as well as any season’s pass holders who present their pass upon entry.
City of Chelan Council: Jan. 5, 12
CHELAN - The Chelan City Council will hold a workshop[ meeting on Jan. 5, beginning at 4 p.m.and the Chelan City Council and Lake Chelan Airport Boards will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 12, beginning at 6 p.m. via video conferencing.
