Benefits five nonprofits in the valley
CHELAN - Festival of Trees is back and better than ever at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. They’re inviting the community to participate in this magical holiday event while supporting five nonprofit organizations in the Lake Chelan Valley. Beautiful trees, representing local nonprofits (Thrive Chelan Valley, Chelan Valley Hope, Manger Mall, Tender Loving Care, and the Lake Chelan Food Bank), with the help of local business donations, will be on display at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce, 216 E. Woodin Avenue. On each tree will be ornament tags that represent real needs for each organization. Community members are invited to come view the trees and support their favorite nonprofits through donations. The goal is that by December 18, all the ornament tags will have been “purchased” and local nonprofits will start the new year with support to continue positively impacting those who are most fragile in our community.
