Thursday Evening Farmers Market - New Hours for 2021
CHELAN -  Chelan Thursday Evening Farmers market is open now thru Oct. 28, with new hours 2-6 p.m. The Market has expanded into Riverwalk Park, with more than 20  vendors.Browse fresh, locally grown produce and a variety of goods from local  artisans. Although this is a Farmer-centric market, there is so much more. Enjoy the entertainment, picnic on prepared food or fresh  fruit and vegetables. Per Health Department guidelines vendors will be masked and providing hand sanitizer throughout the market, for your safety. Lets all continue best practices and stay in Phase 3.The market is located on the corner of S. Emerson Street and Wapato Avenue, near Riverwalk Inn and Riverwalk Park. Cruzin Class Car Show:  June 4-5 
CHELAN - The 2021 Cruizin Classic Car Show kicks off the summer season in Lake Chelan on Friday and Saturday, June 4-5 in downtown Chelan. Locals and visitors alike know the car show is in town when proud owners line up coupes, sedans, street rods, motorcycles, vintage tractors and boats for the big  “Show-n-shine” on Woodin Avenue in Downtown Chelan.  The event includes a beer garden and live music while visitors vote on their favorite classic cars. Seniors’ Road Biking Group: June 4, 7
MANSON/CHELAN - The Seniors’ Road Biking Group of Manson/Chelan is inviting riders to join their riding group.  The bike riders meet at 10 a.m. in Manson or Chelan on Mondays and Fridays. The rides are usually 90 minutes in length and average approximately 20 miles in distance.  The ride routes are pre-planned and include a few or several hill climbs.  The average 90-minute ride pace is 11 mph to 13 mph.  Most of the rides are planned to minimize highway riding. Music In The Park Summer Concert: June 6
CHELAN -  The Music in the Park Concert Series takes place the first and third Sunday of each month 6-8 p.m. at Riverwalk Pavilion on Lake Chelan and will feature: •  June 6: Older & Wiser, •  June 20: Boyana, •  July 4: Dimestore Prophets, •  July 18: Fort Vine, •  August 1: Deseo Carmin, • August 15: The Kevin Jones Band, • Sept. 5: Band to be announced. CHELAN -  The Lake Chelan Arts Council Outdoor Gallery brochure is available at the Lake Chelan and Manson Chambers of Commerce. Follow the Outdoor Gallery map to discover and enjoy over 40 murals and sculptures located throughout Chelan and Manson. Chelan Museum
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Historical Society has reopened  the Chelan Museum. Limited days/hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Face masks are required and the number of visitors allowed in the building at one time will be limited. Stop in and see how they have refreshed the museum with paint, new displays and new signage and check out the 12 ft. tall Lake Chelan Historic Legend Map display. A 24” x 36” poster based on the display is available for purchase for $30. The Epson photo print depicts the lake in a vertical format along with relevant historic entries. Take a peek in the gift store and buy their latest 50th Anniversary History Notes or a Lake Chelan Historic Legend Map.
NCW Libraries open for in-person 
visits, curbside pickup continues

CHELAN/MANSON/ENTIAT  - Customers are able to browse the shelves, access computer stations, read the newspaper, or pick out a DVD at NCW Libraries. Several safety measures are already in place in the libraries. Customers will be required to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and limit their visit to around 30 minutes. In accordance with state mandated guidelines, all of the library buildings will have a 25 percent occupancy limit. For library patrons who prefer minimal contact service, curbside pickup will continue to be offered at all branches. NCW Libraries will continue to offer a wide variety of resources and programs online at ncwlibraries.org and on its Facebook page.

Food Bank  food distribution: 
June 5, 7
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Food Bank food giveaway is on Saturday and Tuesday, 9-10 a.m. Distribution is  drive-thru. They are located at 417 S. Bradley Street. The Food Bank is getting requests for pet food. Small bags of dog food are best. They can be dropped of at the Lake Chelan Mirror office, 310 E. Johnson Avenue in the tub outside.
Blood drive:  June 23
MANSON -  There will be an American Red Cross Blood drive on Wednesday, June 23, 1-6 p.m. at North Shore Bible Church, s123 Wapato Point Parkway. To donate, simply download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit  RedCrossBlood.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or enable the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device to make an appointment.  Blood and platelet donors can save time at their next donation by using RapidPass® to complete their pre-donation reading and health history questionnaire online, on the day of their donation, before arriving at the blood drive.
