Chelan kicks off Small Town Christmas

CHELAN - Small Town Christmas in Historic Downtown Chelan kicked off on Friday, Nov. 23 with a sleigh full of activities.

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived with the help of Chelan Fire & Rescue; there were lots of ooh’s and aah’s and cheering when the tree was lite; L-Bow the Elf kept busy making everything from swords to pink elephants for children; children march in the Children’s Parade of Lights; ending the evening was a spectacular fireworks show; Chelan Fire and Rescue’s tree for the Festival of Trees Auction on Dec. 1; ‘children’ of all ages enjoyed roasting marshmallows; and a band made up of community members lead carolers in Christmas songs.
