Chelan Fire & Rescue: March 17
CHELAN - The  Chelan Fire & Rescue board of commissioners will meet on Wednesday, March 17, at 3 p.m. via Zoom. The public is welcome to join them. They meet the third Wednesday of the month. Go to chelan.7.com for information.
Entiat School Board: March 18
ENTIAT - The Entiat School Board will meet on Thursday, March 18 at 7 p.m. They meet the third Thursday of the month. For information: entiatschool.org
Lake Chelan Lions Club: March 18

‘What’s Up Vet!’ - Informational Zoom meetings: March 18, 23, 25
NCW - All Chelan and Douglas County veterans are invited to attend the new “What’s Up Vet!” informational meetings via Zoom. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. Open to vets, spouses, dependents and anyone with questions regarding veteran benefits and resources. Food Bank  food distribution:

CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Food Bank food giveaway is on Saturday and Tuesday, 9-10 a.m. Distribution is  drive-thru. They are located at 417 S. Bradley Street.

WENATCHEE - The Chelan County Commissioners meet every Monday and Tuesday beginning at  9 a.m. (except legal holidays). Currently, due to COVID-19, meetings are being held via Zoom Video Conference until further notice. CHELAN - The Lake Chelan School District board of directors will meet at 6 p.m. on March 23. This meeting will be available to the  Board of Directors and community members via video conferencing.  If you would like to attend this meeting via phone or computer, please contact Georgia Mashayekh prior to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, to learn how to connect. Because of the format of the meeting, public comments and questions for the school board must be submitted to Georgia Mashayekh before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23.

Spring Fling: March 27
MANSON - The Manson Chamber of Commerce is planning a Spring Fling for Saturday, March 27 and invites everyone to hop on down to downtown Manson from 12-8 p.m. You will be able to meet the Manson Apple Blossom Court as they drive through town and neighborhoods from  12:15 -1 p.m.; take a ride on the Wine Barrel Train 12:30-2 p.m.; Get a photo with the Easter Bunny 12:30-2 p.m.; Fly a kite or shoot off a rocket at Singleton Park as they “Soar into Spring” 2-3:30 p.m. There will also be the grand opening of Navarre Coulee Vineyards with a 11 a.m. ribbon cutting, barbecue to 6 p.m. and live music at 3 p.m.  Enjoy live outdoor music, food, beverages and a welcoming and friendly “Thanks for hopping by” from our local wineries, cideries and restaurants.  For more information: moretomanson.com

WENATCHEE -  The Chelan County Public Utility District board of commissioners, will meet on April 5 and 19 at 10 a.m., in a virtual meeting. They meet the first and third Monday. For information: chelanpud.org

Chelan Farmers Market meeting: April 8
CHELAN - If you are interested in learning more about the Chelan Evening Farmers Market, come meet the market team, some of the board members, volunteers and vendors on April 8, 6 p.m. at April’s (market manager) house, 106 W. Highland Avenue. You can also pick up this seasons application or apply right at the meeting. They will discuss their event schedule and share some of the marketing and outreach they’ve done. Manson Community Council: April 20
MANSON - The next Manson Community Council meeting will be held April 20, at 6 p.m., via Zoom. Lake Chelan Lions Club golf tourney: May 14
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Lions Club hold their 2021 golf tourney at Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course on Friday, May 14. Cost is $125 per person for the four person team scramble format. The Lions Club has secured some great prizes this year, including: chance to win a $10,000 cash prize for a Hole in One on #18 and a $5,000 cash prize for a Hole in One on #7, two night’s accommodation at Lakeside Lodge and Suites, dinner for two at Campbell’s Resort, prizes for Best Foursome, Men’s and Women’s Longest Drive on #12, closest to the Pin on Par 3 holes, Putting Contest, winner takes the Cash Pot and a Raffle Drawing with lots of fun and valuable prizes.
