Adults should also have fun, with art

On Thursday evening of June 27, 13 ladies filled up the Chelan Public Library’s Community Meeting Room to participate in one of three Adult Art workshops planned for July. The participants were exposed, many for the first time, to alcohol ink tiles art. In the two hour workshop instructor Cindy Uhrich of Manson taught the class on how to create images with the alcohol ink on white ceramic tiles. Each participant was given two ceramic tiles and after listening to instructions, they let their imagination create a fun project. Many of the participants used a variety of vibrant colors and blended each color with different objects and techniques. Uhrich will be teaching two more workshops at the Chelan Public Library this July. Registration is free and space is limited.
