Chelan Senior Center parking update
The overflow parking lot next to the ballpark was recently leveled by City of Chelan Public Works, it is now bump free.
Community members were able to park in the overflow parking lot during the Holiday Boutique on Saturday, Nov. 17.
CHELAN - John Olson representing the Chelan Senior Center informed that two weeks ago, City of Chelan Public Works completed the project to help level out the land manly used for overflow parking next to the ballpark. The Senior Center was able to contribute $1,500 worth of gravel, which was then rolled in by Public Works. With a lot of events happening at the Senior Center during the holidays it will be a great addition to the facility. Olson thanked the City and Public Works for all their efforts. He added that next year, the Senior Center is planning on coming back and asking for a fence or any type of barrier to help with the cliff's drop off.
