Deadline to apply for open position on Manson Community Council is Nov. 30

MANSON - The Manson Community Council will hold elections for an open position on Tuesday, December 6. This position is expiring in December.  Any members of the community that live within the 98831-zip code and are currently registered as a Chelan County voter can run for office and vote in this election.
Community minded individuals who are able to set aside any personal agendas and have the time to dedicate to the Council are strongly encouraged to apply. Monthly meeting are held every third Tuesday of each month, and members will be expected to attend.  This position will require a three-year commitment from January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2025.
Applications must be returned no later than 5 p.m. on November 30 to be considered for election.
The election will be held on Tuesday, December 6, between noon and 7 p.m. at the Manson Parks Office on Pedoi Street.
The newly elected member will be sworn in at the December 20 meeting.
