Ladies Golf - Tee time July 11

CHELAN - Tourists galore dotted the golf course on Thursday, July 11 as 22 players and three guests took to the course. Beautiful weather was the star of the day.

Our competition was Mystery Nine where the pro shop draws nine random holes after we begin play. Since no one would take a bribe to find out which holes they were ahead of time, we had to use our score on these random nine holes less ½ our handicap to figure out the winners.

Division 1: First Place: Candace Farnsworth, 37.5. Second Place: Jaclyn Starr-Evans, 38.5.

Division 2: First Place: Linda Hahn, 32.5. Second place, Judy Johanson, 38.

Division 3: First Place: Karen Erickson, 38. Second Place, a tie between Nancy Parker and Joi Dedo, 39.

Jan Artim had a birdie/chip-in on hole 18 and she split the pot with Nancy Parker who had a chip-in on hole 14.

We had a quick club meeting after play and the next meeting will be August 22. Our Member/Guest Tournament will take place on July 25.

Next week’s competition  (July 18) is Medal Play which is low net by division, low gross and net of the field.
