Ladies Golf - Tee Time July 18

CHELAN - Sunshine and golf is a fantastic combo but the gusty wind was a challenge. The day was beautiful none the less and 20 ladies made it to the course to compete in Medal Play (low gross and net of the field and low net by division).

This week’s winner for low gross of the field, April Talley, 89. Low net of the field was Nancy Parker, 59.

Division 1: First Place: Carol Ferguson, 73. Second Place was a tie between Jacklyn Starr-Evans and Maryjo DuRuz, 74.

Division 2:  First Place:  Sherry Ochsner, 71. Second Place: Linda Hahn, 73.

Division 3:  First Place: Joni Dedo, 71.

Birdies were made by Karen Holst on hole 14 and Nancy Parker had a birdie/chip-on hole 11. Nancy had to split the chip-in pot with Patty Myers on hole 11 and Jaclyn Starr-Evans on hole 4.

This week, July 25 will be the Member/Guest Tournament. Lots of members have invited guests to play a fun day of golf and lunch afterwards provided by CJ’s on the Course. Coffee starts at 7:30 am downstairs.

The next date of regular Ladies Club competition will be August 1.  It will be Monthly Medal (low gross and net by division and fewest putts.) Our tee time remains at 8 a.m. for the month of August; please check in by 7:30 a.m.
