CHELAN - The Goats won their second consecutive CTL title Saturday, May 8 sweeping the Cashmere Bulldogs by scores of 13-3 and 13-0. The wins capped off an amazing 2021 season by going undefeated in league play, and tossing their 6th no hitter for the season. Seniors Drake Bird and Dillon McCardle teamed up for the no hitter in game one, striking out 17 Bulldogs along the way. The offense was lead by senior Gunner Glassman who had 3 hits.
Game 2 featured more of the same, as the Goats sent sophomore Braiden Boyd to the mound, striking out 11 in 5 innings. Junior Reed Stamps closed out the game with 2 strikeouts. Offensively, both Boyd and Bird had 2 hits apiece.
