Chelan used a 21-5 third quarter scoring advantage to build a 23 point lead (53-30) heading into the fourth quarter and cruised to the victory 65-48.
Chelan improves to 4-1 in the Caribou Trail League and is 6-5 overall.
Chelan will host  first place Quincy on Friday, January 7 at 7:15 PM. 
Quincy beat Cheal 80-68 on December 9.

Chelan got off to a slow start offensively and trailed 25 to 19 at halftime to the league leading 5-0 Jackrabbits.
Chelan applied great defensive pressure and had nine steals and 18 points off of Quincy turnovers and exploded for 47 second half points. Dylan Jay got all 13 of his points in the second half for the Goats who also got 30 points in the paint. 
Nate Harding made a season high 7 two point field goals and went 9-10 from the free throw line. Harding and Stamps shared the lead in rebounding with 8 each.
Chelan is now tied for first place with Quincy in the Caribou Trail League at 5-1 .
They improved to 7-5 overall.
“The boys showed great resolve and resiliency after not being in school or practicing for two days due to the winter storm. They executed defensive game plan and held Quincy to a season low.”
They returned to CTL action on Tuesday, January 11 at Cascade.

The Goats jumped on Tonasket early in the non league game and built up a 22-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. Harding and Braiden Boyd each hit two three pointers in the first quarter.
Chelan played 10 players and they all scored.
“We continues to show discipline and unselfishness. It was great to see we had no mental let down after Friday night’s big emotional league win.”
Chelan 4th straight win improves their overall record to 8-5.
They returned to CTL action on Tuesday, January 11  at Cascade.
