QUINCY - Chelan’s 8 game winning streak came to end as they fell to second place in the CTL with a heartbreaking loss at league leading Quincy Tuesday night.
The Goats are now 8-2 in League and 12-6 Overall. Quincy is 9-1 in League and 15-3 overall. Both teams have two league games remaining.
The Goats have two games this week: at home vs Ephrata on Tuesday, February 1 and then at Omak Friday, February 4 to close out league play
Chelan has already qualified for the District 6 Championship game. They will take on Quincy Friday, February 11 at 8 p.m. at Wenatchee High School. The winner of that game earns a home play-off game vs the Northeast 1A #3 team in a winner to state game.
“We did a great job building up a lead in the first half but were unable to keep Quincy off the free throw line where they hit 24 of 30 shots including 11-14 in the decisive fourth quarter.”
