“We executed a little better than we did last game and kept them to some low scoring quarters, so I was proud of how the guys were active on defense. We were able to use our pressure to create some turnovers. We also forced some hurried shots with our trapping. Coach Fraker has those boys playing better and better each time. We feel fortunate to defend our homecourt tonight,” Coach Pearl.

“We really had a tough time stopping Wilson tonight. He beat us from a lot of different spots. Our energy and intensity to start the game wasn’t very good, I feel like we weren’t mentally ready during the first half. We challenged the guys at half and made some defensive adjustments after digging ourselves into a 13 point hole. The guys came out with much more fire and dug in defensively in the 3rd quarter, we even were able to capture the lead. But our 4th quarter was maybe the worst we’ve played all season. No stops defensively and we shot ourselves completely out of the game. We know we’re likely to see these guys again and we have to be more focused than we were today,” Coach Pearl.
