Chelan scores goal to prevent shutout

CHELAN - The Chelan boys soccer team endured a 5-1 Caribou Trail League loss against Cashmere on April 9.

The Goats struggled to gain any offensive momentum in the initial 40 minutes as the Bulldogs cruised to a 4-0 lead at the end of the first half.

Luiz Mendez scored a goal in the 50th minute to give Chelan its first goal of the game and prevent the shutout.
