CHELAN - Well the tale of two halves was the story Friday (Oct. 8). Huge shout out to Chelan ASB, Finch Family Farms, Chelan Athletic Booster Club, and everyone who made homecoming a special night.
We would love to have the second half back, but that's life. The formula to win games is stop the run and protect the football and we did neither of those in the second half. They got physical with us and we did not respond like we have in the past.
The good thing is we can fix our mistakes this week during our Bye and prepare for our last two league games. We looked good at times in the pass and run game on offense, we took care of the football on special teams. We executed another onside kick as well.
Defensively we played better in the first half but gave up too much in the third quarter. We still have a lot to play for and the playoff picture is wide open. This team will bounce back for sure.
