Lady Goats bring home fourth place from state tourney

CHELAN – The Lady Goats close out the season after placing fourth at the state tournament, Friday Nov. 10 and Saturday Nov. 11 in Yakima. Matching up against Naches, the Lady Goats won in three sets with scores of 25-22, 12-25, 25-10 and 27-25. Going up against Charles Wright Academy next, taking a win in three of five sets, with scores of 20-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-16 and 15-11. Chelan progressed into the next round, defeated by Cascade in the semi-finals, and by Lynden Christian for the fourth-place ranking in 1A division. The Lady Goats conclude their season with an overall record of 15-6. “I am very proud of how much this team has grown this season. We have had an amazing journey!” concluded Head Coach Jen Rainville.
