MANSON – The Trojans hosted the Waterville Shockers during homecoming weekend, Saturday, Oct. 7. The stands were filled with fans and families for homecoming, and the Trojans put on a great show. Only minutes into the first quarter, the Trojans were awarded a safety, landing two points on the scoreboard effortlessly. The defensive line held tight throughout the game, allowing only 7 points to the Shockers, and the offensive line stepped up and accumulated points every quarter.

The Trojans took the win with a score of 47-7, maintaining sole positioning of first place in the Central Washington 2B league, with an undefeated recorded of 6-0.

“Overall, we know we could’ve played a better game … but we did do a great job on defense and put points on the board on offense,” said Coach Joey Johanson, “so there is not much more I can ask of the guys.”

The Trojans are beginning a bye week, but will be on the road for their next game against Liberty Bell Friday, Oct. 20.
