Don’t let his small stature fool you, Ronnie Parks has some hops, which he proved at the State Track meet in Cheney over the weekend. In her first game, Sames tossed a gem after allowing only two runs, but she was roughed up a little in the second game against Omak and only lasted 4 1/3 innings. Aside from the injury that sidelined her for the end of the season, Sams had a good year on the bump and should be a strong anchor for the staff next year.
