Hospital has improved

Posted
Dear Mr. Rohrich,

I have been a guest at LCCH too many times to count over the past 5 years.
Unfortunately, I have had very mixed experiences from horrible to not so bad.
I’m writing you today to let you know that my experience this week was exceptional. Your staff from the front desk to the maintenance crew, technicians, nurses and doctors were outstanding.  I had fainted hitting the ground hard.  This  fall resulted in a bunged up shoulder, a concussion, confusion and all followed by  anxiety. Your staff, although very busy dealing with an emergency patient being  flown to Seattle, gave excellent care putting me at ease as well as keeping me updated. So, I wasn’t just lying there waiting and wondering what was happening.
Not meaning to eavesdrop, I heard nurses or staff tell patients as they left “thank you for letting me take care of you”. In this time of health crisis, hearing this from your staff showed me how much your hospital has improved. With these  positive changes, this visit brought back trust in the Lake Chelan Community Hospital.
My husband and I wholeheartedly supported the new hospital levy vote. I feel confident that from now until the hospital is finally built we will have a hospital and staff that is dedicated to giving first class care. I would like to share with the community that Lake Chelan Hospital is a place which the community can count on.
Thank you very much and please pass my appreciation on to your staff for their care and kindness. It gives me peace of mind to know that in a time of need your hospital  is there for our Lake Chelan Valley.

Sincerely,
Kathee Fredette
