Lack of affordable housing

The presentation by Friends of Lake Chelan to the Chelan City Council (11-22-17) pointed out the need to have in depth information on providing affordable housing in our area.  The ramifications of having workers living away from their workplace indicated the many losses to Chelan.  It's impressive that two concerned Chelan citizens pursued this crucial issue that resulted in their informative presentation to the Council.  Hopefully, the information has resonated with the Council members and they will use it to make good decisions that answer to the community's vital need for affordable housing.
