CHELAN - Visual artists from the Chelan Arts Council and Chelan High School Art Club have partnered with Heritage Heights Senior Living for the Legacy Project.  Monday, March 6, each of the artists paired up with a Heritage Heights’ resident with the goal of creating a portrait or other art piece that commemorates that person's legacy.
The gathering was an opportunity for each artist to meet, chat and to get to know the background and personality of their subject.  The interview resulted in great stories being told, photographs taken, and ideas for paintings formed for the artists.  The artwork will be produced over the next month and the collective display will be shown at Heritage Heights on a date to be announced in April.
