Tsillan Cellars welcomes staff to new positions

CHELAN - Tsillan Cellars, Lake Chelan’s celebrated destination estate winery and restaurant announced recent promotions and welcomes staff to new positions. Tsillan Cellars and Sorrento’s Ristorante employ approximately 25 full time and 35 seasonal employees.

Alexa Hammond-Vick has been appointed Tasting Room manager for Tsillan Cellars new Woodinville Tasting Room in the center of the Woodinville wine country. With a double major in psychology and Women’s Studies from Washington State University, her passion for wine developed when she moved to Chelan and worked at Tsillan Cellars before moving back to the Seattle area and her new management position.

Carrie McGuinn has been Tsillan Cellars Wine Club Director for the last seven years. Carrie is one of many WSU Cougar graduates at Tsillan Cellars. She will now take on the position of Office Administrator in addition to her role as Wine Club Coordinator. Her experience and knowledge from her time here at Tsillan Cellars will continue to be a vital functionality of the business. 

Jamie Reaves graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Minor in Marketing from Concordia University in Portland Oregon. Jamie has worked as wine hostess at Tsillan Cellars the past two years and is well qualified to take on her new position as Tsillan Cellars Marketing Director.

Devon Griffith was raised on a Manson apple orchard, graduated from Manson High School and is a recent graduate from Washington State University with an Integrated Plant Sciences Degree, majoring in Fruit and Vegetable Management as well as attaining a minor in Viticulture and Enology. His duties will include management of the winery tasting room and working with Tsillan Cellar’s long time winemaker, Shane Collins and vineyard foreman Bal Flores.

Hillary Soergel has worked several summers at Sorrento’s Ristorante and upon completing her degree in Event Planning at Edmonds Community College was appointed Tsillan Cellars Event Coordinator. Hillary brings a contagious enthusiasm to her job and says this is her “dream” job.
