EAST WENATCHEE - As of Monday, June 1 there are 255 positive cases, up from 236 positive cases of COVID19 in Chelan County on May 25, and 173 cases, up from 159 cases in Douglas County. New cases in Chelan County in the last seven days is 19; and in Douglas County 14.
The age groups with the most cases are: 187 cases in the 20-39 age group and 130 cases in the 40-59 age group.
Entiat is holding at one case, Bridgeport has three cases (no change). Chelan has 27 cases (no increase), Manson 8 (no increase), Chelan Falls 13 (no increase), Orondo 9 (no increase) and East Wenatchee 141 (was 129). Chelan County has had six deaths, Douglas County three and Okanogan County two. As of May 29 Okanogan County has 49 cases, up from 44 cases.
Social Distancing and wearing a mask is good, out of concern for preventing viral spread to others versus catching the virus from someone else.
