EAST WENATCHEE - As of Monday, June 8 there are 265 positive cases, up from 255 positive cases of COVID19 in Chelan County on June 1, and 180 cases, up from 173 cases in Douglas County. New cases in Chelan and Douglas County in the last seven days is 14. The number of deaths remains at 9.
The age groups with the most cases are: 195 cases in the 20-39 age group, up from 187; and 134 cases in the 40-59 age group up from 130.
Entiat is holding at one case, Bridgeport has four cases up one. Chelan has 27 cases (no increase), Manson 8 (no increase), Chelan Falls 19 up from from 14, Orondo 9 (no increase) and East Wenatchee 147 (was 141). As of June 5 Okanogan County has 66 cases and two deaths. They are now in Phase 2.
Social Distancing and wearing a mask is good, out of concern for preventing viral spread to others versus catching the virus from someone else.
