Singers to perform on 4th of July
CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Patriotic Singers will be singing in front of Chelan Realty, starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, downtown Chelan. They will be singing while the Lake Chelan Lions Club put up the flags in the downtown core. If you love to sing, you are welcome to join them (music is provided) and or come down and listen to them.
4th of July Fireworks in Manson
MANSON - The Manson Chamber of Commerce will be shooting off their 41st anual Fourth of July Fireworks in Manson Bay at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. They are working with the Manson Fire Department, Chelan County Sheriff and Chelan County PUD through the Manson Parks Department and the cooperation of the community to keep everyone safe and healthy.
They encourage everyone to view the fireworks from their boat, home and car in order to adhere to the social distancing mandate. They are working on maps of the areas that are conducive for viewing the fireworks from your car.
If you are viewing from the street adhere to social distancing of 6 feet from other viewers and we strongly encourage that you wear a mask to protect yourself and others from inadvertently spreading any virus.

Personal Fireworks not permitted
CHELAN - In an effort to remind the citizens of Chelan about the prohibition of fireworks in City, they are sharing the City Code 8.10.015 pertaining to the use of fireworks.
In part it reads: ‘No person shall offer for retail sale or sell any fireworks within the city. Except as authorized by a state license and permit granted pursuant to this chapter pursuant to RCW 70.77.260(2) (public display) or RCW 70.77.311(2) (use by individual or group for religious or other specified purpose on approved date and at approved location), no person shall ignite, explode or discharge any fireworks within the city. (Ord. 1369 § 3, 2008).’
