Chamber to Host Candidate Forum July 19

MANSON - The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum for Lake Chelan School District, Manson School District, City of Chelan, and Hospital District No. 2 candidates on July 19 at 6 p.m. The forum will be held in the Commons at the Manson High School, 1000 Totem Pole Rd.
Between the four districts, there will be 25 candidates represented. The format will include an introduction and explanation of platform by each candidate, followed by a community question and answer period. The public is encouraged to pre-submit questions to jill@lakechelan.com. Attendees will be provided with the opportunity to submit questions the evening of the forum.  
The forum is scheduled to occur two weeks prior to the primary election deadline of August 3.

August 3 Primary Election

Only voters who reside in the following districts will receive a ballot for this election: Lake Chelan School District No. 129, Manson School District No. 19, Fire District No. 7, and Hospital District No. 2.
Election Results - posted after 8 p.m. on Election day.
Ballots will be mailed out later this week.
Ballots Returned: Updates will begin July 19.
Chelan County is a vote by mail county. All voters will receive their ballots in the mail. Accessible voting equipment is available. The County Courthouse will remain open for ballot drop-off and use of the accessible voting equipment 18 days prior to Election Day. Official ballot drop box sites are also available 18 days prior to Election Day, and sealed at exactly 8 p.m. on Election Day.
