Chelan Valley Hope seeking board members

CHELAN - Are you looking to give back to this wonderful community of the Chelan Valley?  Do you have a heart for serving others and the time and passion to invest in Chelan and surrounding communities?  Chelan Valley Hope is looking for new volunteer board members.

CVH had its origins in 2008 stemming from a community roundtable of local pastors and other community members with the quest of fulfilling more tangibly the needs of our neighbors in crisis/need.
As a one-of-a-kind, social services, non-profit agency, CVH has been accomplishing positive change in people’s lives for 12 years!  CVH provides one-stop access to a host of essential local and regional services. We pave the way for long-term stability for families and individuals with a hand-up, not just a hand-out.  CVH serves our community passionately and efficiently through 3 paid staff and 20 dedicated volunteers and an 11-member volunteer board. We provide those in need with assistance to avoid eviction and shut-off of utilities, gas and food vouchers, emergency shelter, winter clothing, personal hygiene items, and other assistance of high civic value benefitting all of us in the greater Chelan Valley region.
We are searching for candidates with a background in any of these areas; service to others, law, grant writing, leadership, non-profit experience, strategic planning, marketing, healthcare or a mental health background, social services, recording secretary, facilities management, personnel, English-Spanish bilingual, business management, or social media management.
The board meets virtually by Zoom in the afternoon on the 2nd Thursday of each month for 1 ½ hours.  If you have interest in being considered for a board director position, call me with questions and please send an email including a short resume to Michael Gibb at  Please visit our website at
