City of Chelan town hall meeting Wed., Oct. 9 regarding lake access

CHELAN - Mayor Cooney and Chelan City Council are holding a special Town Hall meeting regarding Lake Chelan Access Site Analysis and Programming. Lake access is critical to the  quality of Chelan and addressing the future of  our access is important. This Town Hall is  being held for the citizens of Chelan to listen  and discuss the options regarding access.

The  Town Hall meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday,  Oct. 9, at the Chelan Senior Center,  534 E. Trow Avenue. Open house at 5:30 p.m. Presentation to begin at 6 p.m. J. A. Brennan and Associates will present the results of their feasibility analysis.  Citizens will learn of the opportunity to create enhanced or additional community access points to the lake. Concept designs will be provided for eight potential lake access points already owned by the City as well as an undeveloped property site on Spader Bay.

Input from the community in encouraged.  

A quorum of Councilmembers is expected to be in attendance but no action will be taken.
