Emerson Village is located at the corner of Emerson and Chelan Street in Chelan.
CHELAN - Chelan Valley Housing Trust held a groundbreaking for Emerson Village on June 12. Emerson Village will be located 503 N. Emerson Street (at the corner of East Chelan Avenue and North Emerson Street).
Joining in the ‘‘Ceremonial Hard Hat and Shovel” groundbreaking were elected officials, Chelan Valley Housing Trust board Members, community donors and volunteers.

The Emerson Village Townhomes will follow the land trust model that sells the townhomes to low- to moderate-income buyers while the trust retains ownership of the land through a ground lease arrangement that keeps the homes affordable into perpetuity.
Clearing of the ground will begin this week.
