HDCA partners up with Only 7 Seconds to create special offers at businesses to support the May SHARE Day - May 7

CHELAN - Tomorrow, Friday, May 7, marks the 2-year anniversary of local community group, Only 7 Seconds whose mission is to combat loneliness. The 7^th is also SHARE Day which happens every 7th of each month. The simple purpose of the day is to Spread Hope And Remind Everyone. This is a day to take action and remind each other that we are not alone.

The Historic Downtown Chelan Association has partnered up with Only 7 Seconds to create special offers at multiple businesses downtown to support the May SHARE Day:

• Culinary Apple - buy 1lb get 1/2lb free fudge
• Deepwater Electronics - buy one pillow, get a 2nd pillow at 50% off
• Goldie’s: buy a smoothie/smoothie bowl and get another half off
• Marcela’s: buy one entree get another half off
• Spirals - buy 3 pocket stones get one of same price free
• Stormy Mountain – 1/2 price heart pretzel

The Chelan School of Innovation will also have a few art students downtown in the morning creating chalk art on sidewalks reminding pedestrians YOU MATTER.

All of these efforts are aimed at inspiring our community to reach out, connect with others to combat the loneliness that has rapidly increase over the past 1.5 years.
