Ribbon cutting for new hospital

A ribbon cutting and grand opening for the new Lake Chelan Health Hospital will be held this Saturday, October 15 beginning at 9:15 a.m., with the raising of the flag, followed by a ribbon cutting and opening remarks at 9:30 a.m. Self-guided tours will start after that and last until 3 p.m.
The new hospital is located at 110 S. Apple Blossom Drive, across from Columbia Valley Community Health and near Walmart. Lake Chelan Health has their temporary certificate of occupancy so staff is working on preparing the inside of the hospital for the move into the new facility. Opening date of the new hospital is scheduled for Nov. 7.
