Senior Healthy Living and Fall Prevention Fair to be held Sept. 20

CHELAN - September is Fall Prevention Month. Falls do not have to be a part of normal aging.  Please mark your calendar for the Senior Healthy Living and Fall Prevention event on Tuesday, September 20, 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the Chelan Senior Center, 534 E. Trow Avenue.
Consult local experts on how health care, medications, nutrition and diet, home environment safety and exercise/ balance workouts can enhance fall prevention. Hearing, vision, EMS, Fire Dept, dietitian, occupational therapy, pharmacist, nurses and others will be present to share information with you as well as community partners: Heritage Heights and Chelan Valley Hope.
Refreshments will be served and local businesses and nonprofits including Stormy Mt. Brewing, Culinary Apple, Lake Life, Riverwalk Books, 3 Wild Sheep, Lush Life, Chelan Valley Hope and the Senior Center are providing wonderful gift baskets and prizes for our raffle winners. Bring a friend and make new friends at this special event. We love our seniors.
