O God, Bless our Nation’s Emblem; may it ever symbolize freedom and justice for all our people.
Help our citizens to always respect those high principles that are noble and right and that they might better understand the high ideals represented by our flag.
These tired and worn American flags have flown high and proud over the land of the free. They now need to be honored one last time for their service to all citizens.
The cleansing fire will put to rest these flags that we so honor.
Dear Lord, our God, we pray for your divine guidance and caring love as we go about our daily lives. Help us to always love and protect the emblem of our Nation. Amen
