There have been several sightings of cougars in the Lake Chelan Valley this winter and spring, including this good size one caught on camera at 6:30 a.m. on April 1 on Walnut Grove Lane in Manson, on the town side of Wapato Point. Clyde Ballard, who provided this photo of the cougar on his patio, reports that he has seen squirrels and cats near his home, but has not seen any recently.
