Our beloved mother and grandmother Augusta Elizabeth (Betty) Richerson, 91 passed away on December 30, 2021 surrounded by family at home.
She was born January 17, 1930 in Jacksonville, Illinois  to Edgar and Eliza Cooper. She was the oldest of six children, and is survived by brother Ronald (Jimmie) Cooper, sister’s Shirley Taylor and Georgia Wilkins.
Her family moved from Illinois when she was a young girl. She then attended school at South Gale in Denison, Texas. As a teenager, she worked at the Rialto Theater where she met her future husband Paul Richerson. 
They married May 11, 1947 and had nine beautiful children. Larry (Mary) Richerson, Paul (Patsy) Richerson, Richard (Doreen) Richerson, Ann (Rich) Richardson, Margie Nash, Martha (Albert) Williams, Frances (deceased), Michael Richerson, and Delphia Marie Richerson.
In 1966 they moved from Texas to Chelan, Washington. She worked in the apple sheds for a couple of years and then went to Chelan Hospital where she cooked for four decades until retirement. Her hobbies included spending time with family and friends, playing dominoes and cards, listening to music, singing, and had a passion for cooking. 
She moved to East Wenatchee in June of 2019 to live with her daughter Margie who took care of her until her passing.
