  06/28/1923 - 05/15/2018

Born in Wenatchee,

Washington June 28, 1923.

Resided in Edmonds, Washington 2002-2018

LaVonne was the daughter of Frank and Ruth Lakey. She moved to Asheville North Carolina in 1928 and after moving to Lake Forest, Illinois,  LaVonne moved back to Seattle where she met her husband of 49 years, Marco Johnson. LaVonne is survived by her five sons and their wives, Brooks and Pat, Bruce and Bonnie, Barry and MaryJane, Peter and Karen, and Marc and Karen, as well as her brother Pete Lakey (wife Steffi), and sister Alice Grogan.

Lavonne was ‘Nonnie’ (grandmother) to four grand-daughters, Kimberly, Jessica, Leslie, and Megan.  Being great-grandmother to Jakob, Lukas, Brower, Annette, Bailey, and Parker brought her so much joy.

Donnie was in apparel as manager of The Casual Air at Aurora Village for twenty years. She loved to sew, knit, cook, shop with her Sister, play cards with family and friends, and fish in Alaska and Lake Chelan. Traveling was a joyous time with her family and friends and she especially enjoyed many summers at her lakeside retreat in Chelan. LaVonne was peaceful with family by her side to her final day.
