Teresa Flores (LeiVan)

Teresa Flores (born March 8, 1956 ) joined her brother, mother, and father in Heaven early Sunday morning June 28, at the University of Washington Hospital with her daughter, Katrina and grandson Victor holding her hands. Teresa was born and raised in Chelan, Washington, and was proud to share her roots with anyone who would ask. She graduated from Chelan High School in 1974. As a young girl, she enjoyed playing with the horses on her father’s ranch. She had a wonderful way with animals, her calming presence and loving heart would draw them to her. Through her teenage and young adult years, she could be found cruising the streets and backroads of Chelan with her closest friends.
Teresa valued family above everything, and if you were fortunate enough to be her friend, you were invited into her family circle with loving arms. Anyone who knew Teresa knows that she would go out of her way to lend a kind ear or loving gesture, even to strangers. Teresa made an effort to touch everyone’s life in a positive way. When you were in Teresa’s presence, you knew you would be loved and cared for as family. Most people just called her “MOM”. We never forget her big beautiful smile and her overwhelmingly comforting and loving hugs.
Although we will miss her deeply, we can rest easily knowing she is happily watching over her loved ones. We imagine she will be sitting on the front porch with her Mom (Mary Lou Beason) Dad (Vernie Beason) and only brother (Charles LeiVan), holding their hands and proudly sharing in the accomplishments of her beloved family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Byron, Katrena, Chuck and his wife Kat, and her grandson’s Victor, Ben, Antonio, Junior and great grandson Knox.

Please join her family in celebrating, reminiscing, and honoring her incredibly beautiful life on July 11 at 11 a.m. at the Pavillion side of Riverwalk Park.
