Happiness is when you get to play golf with your friends on a beautiful day. Real happiness is when you win a little cash in the process. Thursday was our club’s Member/Member tournament. It was a scramble format for teams of two. Lots of fun, a little birdie juice celebration here and there and lots of laughs.
 After finishing our round, we were served great box lunches by CJ’s on the Course. Cupcakes were enjoyed in honor of birthday girl, Janet Foyle.
There were lots of results to report:
Closest to the pin: Nancy Parker, 37” and Ann Minden.
Longest drives:
Division 1: Barb Rayburn and McKenzie Ballod.
Division 2: Maggie Stalcup and Sherry Ochsner.
Division 3: Mary Jo DuRuz and Loa Servis.
Low Gross:
Division 1: Elona Teague and Nancy Storasli, 80.
Division 2: Karen Holst and Judi Johanson, 91.
Division 3: Susie Clausen and Pam Zent, 93.
Low Net:
Division 1: Jacklyn Star-Evans and Linda Hahn, 60.
Division 2: Jodie Whitman and Monica McCormick, 60.5.
Division 3: Mary Jo DuRuz and Joni Dedo, 60.
Low Gross of the Field: Candace Farnsworth and MaKenzie Ballod, 77. A mother/daughter team to be reckoned with.
Low Net of the Field: Sherry Ochsner and Sherry Fisk, 55.5.
This week’s competition on July 29  is Even and Odd. Count your even holes on the front 9 and your odd holes on the back 9 and subtract 1/2 your handicap. Our tee time is 8 a.m. so please sign in by 7:30 a.m.
