Lake Chelan Ladies Golf - Tee Time - May 27

Thursday’s weather was a little iffy to start but turned out to be a glorious day. Our club hosted the Team competition where our lowest handicappers play a competition against the Team players of several other clubs. Our Team players thank the ladies club for the help with the morning coffee service and sharing the course for the day.
The weekly competition was Three Blind Mice where our pro shop draws 3 holes after we tee off. We subtract the three holes from our gross score, less full handicap. Thirteen players were in the competition. This week’s winners were:
Division 1: First place, Jodi Whiteman, 65.
Division 2: First place, Karen Holst, 61.
Division 3: First Place, Joni Dedo, 55.
The lone birdie girl was Janet Foyle with a spectacular birdie chip-in. Her fellow players said she smacked it into the hole from about 80 yards out on hole 14. Karen Holst also had a chip-in on hole 10.
June 3 competition was Monthly Medal (low gross and net by division and fewest putts). It is was also the final round of the Apple Blossom Tournament. Karen Holst and Susie Clausen competed in the final round of match play.
