CHELAN - Lake Chelan Ladies Golf Club Tee Time Sept. 24.
Our golf club season is winding down. Today was our last day of competition and from now on, until the snow flies, it will just be social golf. Fifteen women were in attendance and thrilled to be playing under clear skies with no smoke.
This week’s competition was Criss-Cross (your gross score of nine consecutive hole comparisons between the front and back less ½ your handicap.)
This week’s winners were:
Division 1: First Place, Janet Foyle, 30.
Division 2: First Place was a tie between Julie Allison and Susie Clausen, 30.5.
Division 3: First Place was a tie between Nancy Parker and Karen Erickson, 31.5.
The only birdie was made by Jan Artim on hole 18. There were five chip-ins today made by Jan Artim on Hole 12, Nancy Judson on Hole 12, Carol Ferguson on Hole 5, Sherry Fisk on Hole 14 and Joni Dedo on Hole 14.
This week is “Social Golf” on Thursday, Oct. 1 with no competition.
