Schedule for Senior Farmers Market Nutrition program announced

NCW - Participants must attest that they are age 60 or over. (American Indian and Alaska Natives are age eligible at age 55)• Income must be at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level:$25,142.00 Annual $2,096.00 Monthly income for 1 person $33,874.00 Annual $2,823.00 Monthly income for 2 people • For larger households add $644.00 for each additional person.• Current residents of Washington State.• Each qualifying senior will have an opportunity to applyand receive two packets of vouchers worth $40 each to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and honey at participating Farmer’s Markets and Farm Stores in Washington State.• Funding for this program is provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington State and Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington.• Serving Older Adults and Persons with Disabilities of Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, & Okanogan Counties and is a member of the National and Washington State Associations of Area Agencies on Aging.• If there is not a distribution site in your area, and you live within Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan counties, please contact Kathy Wright(509- 886-0700 ext. 235 / 800-572-4459

All distributions are on a first come, first serve basis

June 6 – Chelan Senior Center, 534 E. Trow Avenue, 10:30- 11:30 a.m.

June 6 – Entiat Community Center, 12084 Ebntiat Way, 1-2 p.m.

June 8 – Leavenworth Community Center, 423 Evans Street, 10-11 a.m.

June 8 – Epledalen Assisted Living (Cashmere), 809 Pioneer Avenue, 12:30-2:30 p.m.

June 9 – Brewster Senior Center, 109 S. Bridge Street, 1-2 p.m.

June 13, Okanogan Senior Center, 1300 2nd Street, 10-11 a.m.

June 16 – Methow Senior Center (Twisp), 215 Methow Valley Highway, 10-11 a.m.

June 22 - Wenatchee and East Wenatchee. A Drive-thru distribution will be held at the Town Toyota Center parking lot located at 1300 Walla Walla Ave in Wenatchee on June 22, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Please use the main enterence at the stop light and follow the signs that say SFMNP*
