Douglas County PUD meeting - July 27

Awarded Senior Distribution Systems Engineer Len Anderson with his 20 year service award. Commissioner Simpson thanked Len on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for his years of service. Len thanked the Commission and said "It's been really good working here."

Revised Schedule 6 of the Electric Distribution System Customer Service Policies. This revision would add a fee for additional IP addresses after the included 8 to meet the changing business needs of the DCCN. 

Approved amendment No. 5 to professional service agreement with Schnabel Engineering to add Task13, Update Probabilistic and Determinists Seismic Hazard Analyses to their scope of work at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. This will increase the contract $101,100.

Authorized land use permits 137-01, 723-01, 724-01 & 732A-01, Custom Orchards. The permits are for use of Project lands for continued operation of existing commercial orchards, limited gate access, existing irrigation intake and existing driveway access for orchard operations.

Authorized land use permit 365-02, Norman and Wanda Wilson. The permit is for use of Project lands for existing residential landscaping.

Authorized land use permit 613-01, Godbey Red-E-Mix. The permit is for use of Project lands for an existing commercial concrete batch plant.

Authorized land use permit 627B-02, Janice May and Raine Beeson. The permit is for use of Project lands for an existing irrigation pump.

Authorized land use permit 660-01, Sheila Lautensleger. The permit is for use of Project lands for an existing irrigation pump and inlet.

Authorized land use permit 732B-02, David and Florence Werlein. The permit is for use of Project lands for a single use dock, anchor system and 10 feet width access pathway.

Authorized land use permit 749-01, Roger and Jan Erlandsen. The permit is for use of Project lands for a single use dock and landscaping.

Authorized land use permit 749-01,RDC-Eastside LLC. The permit is for use of Project lands for landscaping and the removal of asphalt from an abandoned highway.

Authorized land use permit 783-01, Lakeview Homeowners Association. The permit is for use of Project lands for two joint use docks and residential landscaping.

Authorized Programming Transport Services Agreement with KSE Outdoor Sportsman Group, LLC.   These agreements are required by most networks to receive and transport the signal over the Douglas County Community Network.

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. August 10, at the District's East Wenatchee office.
