STARTING MARCH 26

Posted

Drivers asked to use caution at worksite around South Shore Substation
CHELAN, WA – Chelan County PUD crews will start work Monday, March 26, to reconfigure existing overhead lines leaving the South Shore Substation near Bear Mountain and Hawks Meadow. Traffic will not be affected, but drivers will see crews working along the highway on weekdays for about six weeks.
Crews will remove a set of three electrical wires and replace them with a new set of wires lower on the poles, then shorten the poles. This work will prepare existing infrastructure to provide additional future capacity from the South Shore Substation.
