34 Manson school staff receive vaccine

Following a White House directive to the state providers to make all preK-12 educators, school staff and childcare providers, eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, Gov. Jay Inslee on March 2 announced their immediate eligibility, and on March 3 the Lake Chelan Valley had its first vaccine clinic for educators. Manson School District nurse Michelle Rogge worked with Lake Chelan Health EMS director Ray Eickmeyer and others to put the clinic together in less than a day. Thirty-four staff were vaccinated. The district reports that 70 of the 104 staff members have received the vaccine.
