Chelan High School girls basketball wrapup for June 10

CHELAN - The Chelan Goats came out of the shoot a little flat to start the game. One of our biggest battles we have been working on is how to play at an intensity level that is Chelan Girls Basketball rather than playing down to or up to the level of our opponents. We didn't do that well in the first half. We have also had several games where we haven't finished offensively like we have wanted.
Last Saturday (June 5) against Omak it was from the free throw line as we missed 18 in the second half alone. Tonight against Brewster it was a lack of finishing point blank lay ups as we missed 12 uncontested in the first half.
Finally in the second half we played a little better as a team. Its nice that we have many different athletes that can score so we can typically find someone who can put the ball in the hoop.
Tonight Senior Booh Huddleston finished with 14 points which included 4 beyond the perimeter. Senior, Katie Rainville finished with 12 with 10 of those coming in the second half. Kira Sandoval added 11 and Aliyah Finch with 9. Morgyn Harrison 5, Beau Nordby, 4 and Hayley Watson 2.
