Four Chelan High students will participate at the Western International Band Clinic

CHELAN - Four students will be representing Chelan High School at the Western International Band Clinic Nov 16-19, 2018 in Seattle, WA. Max Nimz (flute), Caroline Kelly (trumpet), Isabella Evans (baritone saxophone) and Johan Luna-Munoz (clarinet). WIBC is a convention for band directors and an audition honor band for high achieving music students.  Founded in 1979, WIBC features four 165-member high school honor bands under 6 world-renowned guest conductors and a featured soloist.  This year’s guests conductors and soloists are: 

  • Cheryl Floyd - Texas Conductor
  • Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser - Attitude Concepts for Today - Conductor
  • Dr. Ralph Hultgren AM - Australia Conductor and Composer
  • Dr. Rodney Dorsey - Indiana University Conductor
  • Colonel (Ret.) Michael Bankhead - Utah Soloist Conductor
  • Dr. Chad Nicholson - University of Arizona Conductor
