Wilson named new Chelan school superintendent

CHELAN - The Lake Chelan School District Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Brad Wilson has  been selected as the new superintendent of the Lake Chelan School District, effective July 1.
Mr. Wilson has been the principal at Lake Chelan High School for the past six years and before that was Chelan Middle School principal. He has an Undergraduate Degree – Washington State University, a Master’s Degree – University of Arizona and Superintendent Credentials from  Washington State University. The board will work with Mr. Wilson to negotiate a contract and final contract approval will be at the April 12 board meeting. Mr. Wilson will replace Barry DePaoli, who is retiring June 30.
The other finalist was John Belcher currently Mount Si High School Principal.
The Board of Directors would like to thank staff and community members for their input during the search process.
